ABOUT ME

I received my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in June 2006 and have been working as a Full Time In Home Personal Trainer in Northern and Central New Jersey since fall 2008. I’m fully insured, and am certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid and Adult CPR-AED.

Although I knew fitness was my passion and Personal Training was what I wanted to do with my career, I was having a lot of success throughout college in finance and had a good head of steam with a lot of experience by the time I graduated. By this time I’d made a lot of contacts in different aspects of the business and had become close with a lot of young men that were making a LOT of money- so I felt it was only fair to give it a shot and put my love for fitness on the back burner

Well unbeknownst to me our economy was on the verge of severe decline and I missed the boat on all the easy money my friends and colleagues were collecting. However, in the meantime I’d been Personal Training one of my best friends from my childhood that had been overweight and unhealthy his entire life. He was obviously familiar with my passion and background in fitness, and after failing to lose the weight on his own numerous times he knew I was the only one that could help him turn his life around. We worked together feverishly in the gym AND in the kitchen and after 7 short months he had lost over 130 pounds naturally and was SUPER fit! Then he got a new job, his hours changed and he no longer had the time to train with me so he went off on his own and I was left without any Personal Training clients, and soon after that I had no job. The void I felt when he stopped training with me was unreal, I never thought it would effect me as much as it did. And that’s when I knew it was time to start my own fitness business and Toned at Home Personal Training was born.

Over the years I have been extremely lucky to have worked out with and picked the brains of many competitive bodybuilders, pro boxers, MMA fighters, Muay Thai Kickboxers, Fitness Models, Professional coaches, been a member of online forums, conversed with world renowned online trainers, and countless other fitness connoisseurs in between. And therefore the most valuable asset I offer you is EXPERIENCE. Old ladies, disabled veterans, people suffering from depression, high level executives, insecure teenagers, pro athletes, young children, housewives, I’ve trained them all. And all of them that have showed up ready to work have been ecstatic with their results.

My Personal Training methods include practical, functional, and effective techniques that can be done by ANYONE- and they will not only help people rehabilitate from injuries but also help prevent them. No matter how good or bad of shape you think you’re in I’ll be pushing you on a level that’s appropriate for YOU. So please don’t be nervous about getting started.

I’ve had the pleasure of training some absolutely amazing people over the years, and they have taught me just as much about life as I’ve taught them about fitness. From traveling to other countries, states, amazing restaurants in different cities, sporting events, pool parties and more, I feel truly lucky to be in the position I am today and I owe it all to my Personal Training clients. They are some of my best friends and I look up to them, and their work ethic and devotion to their health, families, and lives have been a true inspiration to me. The bond formed between Personal Trainer and client is REAL, and below I’ll share with you a very small fraction of the many awesome and fun experiences I’ve had the pleasure of spending with some of these beautiful people.
